If you manage a hotel, you already juggle a small city’s worth of systems that must behave day and night. Elevators, boilers, point-of-sale, a hundred thermostats set by a hundred moods. The ductwork sits out of sight, so it is easy to forget the metal rivers that carry the air your guests breathe. Floor protection makes or breaks your week. Corridors that look like a shipping depot at dawn will draw the GM’s glare.
